Hello, This is my baby girl, Monique. Is this just a weird time in her life, she kinda looks like she has a weird head. I'm hoping all is well and im just freaking out, but her head doesn't look quite like my other boa'.s

Any comments or suggestions are very welcome, Thankyou!!

This is a condition usually seen in morphs that is a result of too much "line breeding" and is in no way harmful to the animal.

I cannot say 100% that this is your case, but it is very common.

Would it effect her as a mother, and her potential offspring?

Jendee is the one to ask, she has many boas, she seems well versed.

I just looked at her boa pics, and their eyes look the same as your snake's

Ok found only one example which I found annoying. But her is a super ghost. My friend on Fb asked me one day what he had super or normal..this boa is very much a super and you can see what happens to supers who arent properly outcrossed. I told him that I ddnt think his boa would live through breeding or to a very old age but who knows..guess she is still kickin!!

the bug eye thing happens in alot of albino, snows, sunglows, super jungles..sometimes they will even loss the eyes all together : / its sad!! always make sure you buy from breeders who are in it to better the hobbie not make a quick buck you dont want to support them and their bad breeding habits! all babies eyes are gonna bug out a bit especially the real young ones but they should always grow into those things lol

anyway she looks great and totally normal to me :)

Thankyou guys so much for the reassurance. She is about a year old, i think she might just need to grow into those eyes. I really appreciate the reply's. Thankyou!! :D

the eyes look normal to me! most of the eye problems i have heard about or seen are from albino to albino breeding, more so with the Kahl line, i suppose snows would suffer the same problem if its an albino het anery to an albino het anery pairing.
