This week Living Gems Reptiles profiles another of its adults, Scarface. Scarface is a July 2008 male who hails from Texas. As of December 2010, he weighed 1040 grams (light for his age -- he has proven to be a good eater but slow grower).
Here he is in a sequence of four shots under different lighting:

Note the big differences each of these lighting conditions reveals.
Thank you for looking,

Amazing color. It always cool how the lighting can make their color change so much. Gorgeous snake BTW.

Amazing color changes in different light. Making me side towards a rainbow instead of another retic lol.
Cliff, as always, great looking animal! I have big balls (lol, couldn't resist), so I know what a 1000g BP looks like, but what about a 1000g BRB? My little gal is about 150g, so I'm having a difficult time scaling her up by about 6.2x...

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments. He's got some nice color even in poor light, but he just glitters outside.
Marvel, I like the new quote.
Stephan, maybe someday someone will produce a retic-sized rainbow....a raintic? :::dreams:::
Ch^4, my biggest females are actually pushing 2200 grams...and I've heard of animals over 3000! So, times her by 20? ;-)

As far as i know, you cant breed a boa with a python?
^^ I'm not trying to breed a boa to a python. I was simply trying to visualize how large Cliff's 1040g BRB was...

I was kidding, Stephan -- my apologies for any confusion. I'm not even a fan of cross-subspecies propogation, much less trying to cross a python and a boa!

Generally im not, but i fell in love with my friends bateater, fantastic personality. And any snake that bites me on the face has a special place in my heart:P (it was my fault that i got bitten)
Apparently I lose the ability to read after lunch...totally missed the "raintic" joke and jumped to an assumption. Whoops!
