I finally managed to calm my new snake down enough to get some pics of her without getting pooped on or hissed at. She is still really really jumpy though...just gotta get away all the time.

She has this really pretty red/brown color...though my camera only shows off the brown. And though I didn't get a pic of it her underbelly has much more yellow than I am used to seeing. I have to believe she might have some morph genes in her...however you would say that.

I think she is Het for a morph. She is a bit darker than I have seen in other hoggies with that reddish color doing so...but I am not confident enough to say she IS a morph.

More yellow on the belly and a red touch to her scales does not a morph make.

And I just want to thank everyone for trying to help out with the hognose before. The breeder and I have stayed in touch a few times and even for her the other snake won't eat steadily. She too noticed the "chewing" with the mouth and has never seen it before. It is suspected that a flaw or malformation with the fangs in the rear of the mouth could be part of the problem. But at least she is now with someone who can and will take care of her.

And though this new hoggie has a attitude problem she eats like a CHAMP! Has been eating one large pinkie and one small pinkie. She still isn't wide enough to handle a fuzzy so for now I will be sticking with the 2 pinky feed. And hopefully eventually I will get some pics of the action...since hognose don't strike and coil like many others.

If she's eating i wouldn't worry about it.
Its normal for a rear-fanged snake to chew, most snakes for that matter chew in one way or another, it could be that this snake just needs to chew more for whatever reason.

Well it is the breeders issue now. Though I will say she was chewing ALL THE TIME except when sleeping. Even that cannot be normal, I mean to be constantly always chewing just seems really really odd. However not worried with it now cause this new hognose pictured above is doing excellent.
