Decided to give 'Celli a fuzzy today, and he took it! Took him almost 35 minutes, but he got it down and is safely back at home! Full little buddy now!! :)

Thanks! I'm expecting his growth to reaaaaaally take off now that I've got him on "real" mice with fully developed bones and whatnot. I'm excited to see how rapidly he grows! He's already shedding about once a month, with a weekly feeding schedule.

Good luck to you! If you breed your own rats/mice there are foods out there like Mazuri 6F that will make the foods you give the snake even better.

Yes exciting we would all like to hear how fast he grows!

oh and what is Mazuri 6F?

Well, he's not regurgitated, so I think he'll be good to continue with fuzzies!

Yeah, I will definitely keep records (have so far!) of feeds and sheds, and now I've found an accurate way to measure him as well! Just need to get a better scale, the weights I'm not so sure about. As of right now, he's shedding on a 30 day cycle!! He should be entering into shed sometime later this week, he's about 20g, and 17" long.

Congrats on Vermicelli's feeding! It's so much fun to watch these little guys down the larger food items. Let us know how he progresses!!

The miracles of modern science, I swear...definitely have to keep that in mind if I ever start breeding my own mice/rats. Hopefully I'll never have to, but you never know!

Well its good to save money right? I would honestly think about it but when I had pet mice their pee smelt so bad. never again.

Yeah, I don't care for rodents :/

Just checked on him, and the lump's gone! It's amazing that a meal of that size is done with in just 2 days!

He should be going blue any day now...Both his first and second shed cycles he skipped one feed, and they still came a month apart, so we'll see how this one goes.

I swear, he's already girthier just from the one fuzzy! They grow up so fast!

yes they do!, I fed baby a fuzzy last night and she took it in 20 seconds....I may have to up her again if she keeps this growing thing up ;)
