They're not as bad as people make them out to be. I did have a little issue with dehydration at the begining of winter. I'll be putting him in a smaller container inside his enclosure though. He likes it just fine but doesn't want to eat on his own. I got one of the fun stubborn eaters. His temperment is wonderful. He's never shown any kind of aggression. Not even towards his food. I can handle him all I want and he doesn't seem to be very bothered by it. He's actually more tame than a ball python I had. I'd say he's as tame as my Dumerils. Once you have heat, humidity and air circulation all going well then you have no worries.

Its not a problem. From what i've read and heard the northerns like what I have get to 5-6 feet and the amazon basins get to about 7-9 feet. Vivs from what i've seen depend on what you plan on keeping them for. Breeders keep them in very basic smaller enclosures. some other people like to keep them in larger more natural looking enclosures like myself. I'm no expert on ETBs but if you have any more questions i'll try to answer them as best i can. i'm sure there are others on here who are much more knowledgable
