Sunny was our third snake, came along as a resue/rehoming. The guy said that Sunny was a female, had been handled almost daily and was three years old.
Turned out she was a HE, form the reaction of him mujsking everywhere whenever he was picked up i dont believe he was ever handled. However, after a few months of covering the flor with newspaper and wearing a fullsuit waterproof set i got him used to me and now he is fine being handled by anyone. He has never bitten and because of going through this process with him he has a spot in my heart.

Those two pics are the closest i pictures i have to his true colouring. As with all snake pics the camers seems to wash out the colours, those two were taken with my "proper" camera where the others were taken from my phone.

Yeahh... That's why I always intensify the colors in my photos. Cameras just don't do justice when it comes to colors.
I was at this expo today and he reminds me a lot of this Corn/King cross I fancied. Only difference was it had more stripes than splotches. Pure white, golden(or vibrant orange) stripes/streaks.~

He shed this week so tried to get some pics of the difference between his saddles and the lower body - pics dont really do it justice as it is very striking in reality.

i find we always seem to have a stronger bond with the snakes we have problems with at the start
my craziest carpet the one and only psycotic " crazy bert " our machine gun biting jungle and i have a strong bond
i spent the first 18 month trying to calm him down before realising he's just NOT going to tame down
now we both know where we stand we're the best of mates
lovely healthy looking corn you got there mate
cheers shaun

Yeah he looks like a Corn because all Corns have that "arrow" marking on the top of the head. Very nice looking snake and a very unique morph.

Thank you all - Sunny says "Thanksssssss" too but wishes he could have a mate rather than lots of compliments!! This time of year is hell for the poor boy, constantly cruising his viv and staring out into the room :(

Rob, all my males are in the same boat, especially My GreyBanded King. He just looks so frustrated, roaming his enclosure, looking for Ms. Right!

All of this talk of breeding Corns makes me miss Carl, my Bloodred Stripe (RIP). This wouldve been the time to set these plans in motion. :( Anyway, you do have a great looking Corn, like I said earlier and I think a nice looking lady would do wonders for him :).

We had considered breeding corns in the past but with money being how it is and both me and wife disabled and with low mobility decided that it isnt practical :) - we may add to our collection at some point but they will always only be pets to us.

I understand this since all of my snakes are pets as well. As pets, breeding is a bonus and still may happen at some point in time. Right now, we're not in any position to get another snake since Im still looking for another snake rack to house what we have, but I still havent ruled out finding a nice looking male for Schatzi.
Also, in a few years when Mick and Sheila get old enough, since they are unrelated, we will be breeding them as well.
Also Gandalf the Grey and Arwen, 2 of our Dums are sharing a tub. I dont think Gandalf is quite old enough yet to know what hes doing but maybe next year he can have not only Arwen but Euryale as well. Time will tell and we'll see what happens.
"Pets" vs "breeders" dont have to be mutually exclusive. The main thing is that you have fun with not only Sunny but also the rest of your collection.

First off, ^^^ Lol.
I can see why this snake is named Sunny. The amount of white is outstanding, and the picture with her being held by the person in the black shirt looks great. The color really pops, I think you could get some great shots of her on a black sheet, or velvet blanket!

I have no idea on age, i adopted him as an "adult female" so anything the guy said is pretty unreliable to be honest :)
