Can't wait to see the pics of her :D
As for knowledge, you'd have to tell us what kind of boa she is. I'm fairly certain not all have the same needs.

She's a B.c.imprerator or colombian red tail as far as I know when it comes to bci or bcc im not sure I could tell the diff lol but that's what they gentleman im getting her from said she was he has the breeder info so I can find out more about her lineage.

If she is Colombian then she is a BCC. True BCI's such as the Suriname's are true red tails. Please post pics as soon as you get her and someone on here will help with identification for you. I would say the the BCC's are much more common and easier to care for. True BCI's tend to be much more sensitive to their environments and need closer attention to heat and humidity levels. True BCI's can also be problem feeders when not kept right and even when they are can have problems with regurgitation. I would recommend getting a BCC for a first time owner over a BCI. There is alot of info out there if you spend some time looking around the forums. Good luck and can't wait to see some pics. Congrats!

Steve O, BCI's (Boa Contstrictor Imperator) are your common boas and BCC's (Boa Constrictor Constrictor) are your true red tails. :)
