No. There are a wide variety of morphs/colors/patterns of crested geckos. Both males and females can have deeper coloring, it just depends on the genetics of the individual gecko.

What's Mocha's morph, pattern, etc.? When I look at Cresties, I'm always fond of the one that have that coloring/pattern down their back. It's even better if it's a more intense golden/orange.

Mocha is a harlequin dalmatian. She's not fired up in those photos. When she fires up, her color turns a much darker brown color, the patterning on her sides sticks out more, and her crests and the colors on her back turn a more orange color. I'm not a great photographer so I have trouble getting pics of her fired up, but here's one where she's semi-fired:

Oh wow! That's simply stunning :D Well now I know what kind of Crestie I want whenever I'm ready for one! Wow, she's just so beautiful~ c:
I agree they are both so beautiful!
Another Question: are males or females easier to care for?

I've heard and seen that males generally try and partake in... 'unwanted activities' with your hand... At least, this is what I've seen from JB Crestie's male cresteds. Not sure if it's 100% true, though.
