Man Shaun they are BEAUTIFUL. I really like the row of diamond going strait down the first snakes back. He almost looks like he might have a stripe theme going on with he diamond marking. Kind of reminds me of a stripe Bredli markings. Love to see how his pattern holds up with age. Very sweet and unique looking. Can't wait to see these guys has they gets bigger. Once again you have me over here drooling.

Very nice Shaun. Your getting the project well and truelly underway. Now you just have to wait till all are of age mate. Then you will be breeding your pure diamonds!!! I have always love the gosford locales too mate.

thanks rob mate

i was in a place that i know you end up in from time to time (no disrespect mean't my friend)

the place we need to go when the physical daily pain starts to grate on us we need to do it on our own mate as for as much as our loved ones help and support us and understand the pain as much as they can its something we need to sort out on our own in our own time

i hope all is well with you mate

Yeah, i know where you went mate, i have a season pass

Things been kinda rough here too lots of bad days, hip dislocations x 3 in three months and a sudden massive increase in pian. Change of pills has managed to get pain somewhere near under control but nothing they can do about the hip/pelvis/back - was offered an op with 15% chance of success but 75% chance of some level of paralysis - not really a choice.

But, we live on and come back to the good times and do what we can to get as much fun and happiness in our lives. :)

On happier thoughts, what you got cooking for this year mate? Many eggs in the incubator?

i'm really sorry to hear about your dislocations rob and all the other pain increasing.i have to agree that a 15% chance of success against 75% chance of some kind of paralyisis is NOT a choice at all.the odds would really have to be the other way around before you even thought of considering the operation.even then it would still take a lot of thinking there are medical break throughs all the time mate so heres hoping they come up with a better alternative soon.

re eggs
nothing this year mate

last year was a bit of a disaster planning wise i couldn't find suitable mates for my adults and the one pairing i had in mind from 2008 was a bust after the 06 coastal jag lost his 18 month fight with lung problems

he was grey and silver and i thought would have made an ideal pairing with my black and white diamond jungle.even if the jag had not died i still would not have bred as i felt the black and white female was just a tiny bit too small to breed

my 07 male irian jag i tried all year to find a high quality female irian for in the end i brought in a pair of F2 specific line bred reduced pattern irians from ron winkler in holland but they are only 09's so it will be a couple of years before the females up to size.they were bred for their strong yellow and reduced pattern.

even then these irians are specific line bred F2's so i would like to breed them together to keep the line breeding going and hopefully produce some better looking F3's.i will then give the female a year off then put her with the irian jaguar

diamonds are still growing and its looking like 2013,2014 before everything will be ready with them

i have been looking for an adult carmel coastal male, adult bredl female (high red one)

to be honest the last 12 months i've been trying to get all my half projects turned into complete ones

what i mean is i have a lot of carpets who have no mates lined up as i've still to buy them.i know what i want for them but it's taking time getting quality examples so there's a lot of half projects as i call them at the moment.i hope to have most of them paired up for this coming season (end of this year beggining of next year)

so i'm hoping 2012 will be a good year for my morelia and i've got my male diamonds (finally) so all is well in carpet land...!!

all the best shaun

Sounding good!! Much better to wait and "do it right" than throw pairs together that arent really what you are looking for.

MAke sure you post pics of the new ones as and when you get them ;)

i could not agree more rob i feel a lot of folk in the uk breed just for the sake of it or to say oh ive bred such and such

i have no interest in monetery gains my only passion is to create stunning looking snakes

don't get me wrong any cash i made of hatchlings would be greatly apprecited but would most likely be invested in better vivariums like herptek or rhino viv's

and a purpose built snake house/room or both, haha

but just to see little diamond heads popping out their eggs would be reward enough for me

cheers shaun
