I've been out of snake keeping for a while but kept a nice female jungle. I just bought this guy to hopefully breed to her in a couple of years and he is a screamer. I wanted to show him off to those who could appreciate a nice snake :) I think he'll be nice and yellow as an adult with alot of orange in his pattern (the Jaya blood?)

Thanks for the complements. He is around 5 months old. He is very yellow. His grandfather was Bullwinkle and his mother was a trophy jungle from AC Reptiles.

Here he is as a hatchling just a few months ago. I'll see if I can't get some more pics.....been busy. These are Anthony's pics. FYI, he has been as snappy as he looks, but is calming :)

Second to everything Shaun said. He really is a beaut and yeah, who bred him?

He was bread by Anthony Caponetto (ACReptiles). Your are correct about his genetics. He is: 50% Jungle, M.s. cheynei, 37.5% Irian Jaya, M.s. harrisoni, 12.5% Coastal, M.s. mcdowelli. I feel very lucky to have aquired him. I was looking for a show quality animal with breeding potential as I plan to try my hand at breeding again (I've been out of reptile keeping for a while, other than a few leftovers from my prior collection) I contacted Anthony and he suggested this animal. Right place, right time I guess. Anthony is a great guy if you get the chance do deal with him.
He is eating like a pig and healthy as a horse. I will certainly be looking to make use of this forum members' breeding experience when he reaches maturity :)
Here is a link to info from Anthony's site with a photo of his slightly better looking twin brother. I am new to this forum and hope it's ok to embed links to other sites, but think its ok as I am not affiliated with ACReptiles.

He is gorgeous, but huge for 5 months old. How big will he get when fully grown?

Hard to tell with that mixed blood. He is a decent size though so I bet he will go the coastal way and hit 7 or 8ft. My fiance had a bit of a fit when she discovered my female coastal's potential size. My vague "well it all depends" answer sent her searching on the internet haha.

The Jag and I appreciate the complements. Yes, I think he is going the way of the coastal carpets in terms of size. He is growing very quickly, more quickly than my Jungle did.
I'm gonna try and get some updated pics when he gets through shed in the next few days......

Here is "killer" as I was cleaning his cage. I am glad to say the has calmed a little. He is probably close to 4ft long now.

Man he looks sweet. Jags just have such amazing color. That's why Jaguar's are my second favorite carpets after Diamonds.

Here are some quick pics I snapped today. He is becoming quite the looker. He is about 4ft long now, probably about 1 year old, and of course has become much less defensive.
