GTP enclosure

i had a mite problem a couple of months ago, it unfortunately took my baby but i do have a new one now that came to me mite free and i want to keep it that way so i threw out all of the old stuff (branches, substrate, plants, ect).

i recently came into a little sum of money and want to spend it spoiling hank w. live plants, any suggestions?

PS:
he is still sort of pissy w. me so i don't want any plants that would be super easy to hide in, i don't want accidentally agitate him when cleaning and get bit just bc he can hide.

Have seen some very nice "natural" GTP tanks, if you put Natural GTP Setup into google you should get some good ideas.

We have Pothos and Bamboo in one of our GTP enclosures. They are both safe, hardy and very common plants to use. When you purchase the plants though make sure you re-pot them in a pesticide/fertilized free potting mix and rinse all the old potting soil off the plants roots. Also rinse the plant itself off well. You never know what has been sprayed on them at the store or green house.

Keep in mind that you should also buy them from a company and not on craigs list or something, last time i did that i bought bamboo and got some weird fruit bearing tree.

i planted (after cleaning them off) the pothos directly into the substrate and they're growing like crazy lol

Live plants and bioacive substrate re the way to go. very low maintenance and no foul smells.
