Yeah, I know, back in 2002 or '03 there was a thread posted about these guys, but I just want to show off some awesome pictures I found of these gorgeous snakes.~
And yes, their venom is only mild, but I didn't really know where else to shove this. If only they didn't have a neuro venom, I had more space, and more money, I'd consider one. :>... but I don't, and they do... though, they -are- rear-fanged.

The local scales & Tails has like 6 of these things for sale for only like $29. I bet they would look amazing in a large tall octogon tank.

Yeaaahhh.. I've seen some posted online for $25 - $35. I was amazed how low their prices are.. but, sadly, I've read most of these are wild caught and are, quite possibly, infested with parasites and you'd be lucky to have your first live for very long.
The venom is mild? What will happen if they bite?

No idea. I'd imagine with a neurotoxin, possibly mild paralysis of the affected area?
And yes, their venom is very mild, they're also rear-fanged, similar to a hognose. Not sure if their venom is as mild as the hognose, though.

I know of some forums that do. Have both Like and Dislike, but I personally think it can bring up social issues like,"Why didn't they like mine and like this one instead? Mine was way more informative(blah blah blah, so on and so forth)." We're good without it.
Edit: Additionally, since the new 'Picture' rule, here's the link to the only picture that didn't have a watermark on it:

Also, I found these pictures while trying to locate that one's website.

It makes me question if they're rear-fanged or not.. Are these just different teeth? As in, are these teeth that don't inject venom, meaning -only- the rear-fang teeth can do this? Or do these front teeth also serve for injecting venom?
There's also this photo to show that you can get them on a mouse diet :D ... because I heard it was hard to get them on said diet, since they mostly feed on geckos and anoles in the wild. Wonder what that red mark is, though... Damage?

The fiancée and I were at scales and tails today getting food and we watched a vine snake strike at an anole bite the hell out of it and then consume it!! the anole slowly succumbed to the poisons it was neet. I think we need two.
Oh btw the black and white markings come out when there skin stretches from food or threat display, its really pretty in person!

I'm sure! I absolutely love the black/white checker pattern on them amongst all that green~ It's very beautiful, even in photo, can't imagine in person~
So I take it you -have- one or you're thinking about starting out with two?
