Shedding question

How often do carpets shed in their first couple years?

I'm sure this depends on a lot of factors, but just in general?

Well I know, in general, snakes will shed monthly for maybe... the first 8 months to a year? It really depends, and I've never owned a CP so I can't tell you 100%
