how do you make a link for someone to click on in your signature say like "pikes peak herp society" instead of saing the link itself like "http://www.facebook.com/pages/Pikes-Peak-Herp-Society/148084818584846?sk=wall" ????

Should be the same as creating a link in a post. Type the word or phrase you want people to see, then highlight it, then click the 'Insert Link' button and paste the address there.
