Hey guys so my KSB, that I had for 4 weeks has been doing pretty well. First week she ate, second week she ate, third week she ate, and now today I put her in the brown bag what I usually do, and she didn't eat :( Last time she ate was 6 days ago so she should be ready to eat? temps are what it should be, she doesn't seem to stressed out? Am I getting worried over nothing, or should I start to panic? Oh and after I took her out of the bag when she didn't eat, she went to the water bowl and drank all the water! She seemed very thirsty!!

Maybe she is going into a shed!
I'm sure she is fine, keep us updated.

My own snake (a hognose) hasn't eaten in 6 weeks. And she is doing fine. Wouldn't worry to much. Just go through the same routine next week.

Nenna, I can't try feeding her again tomorrow?

Why not, she didn't regurgitate did she! I'm not an expert on snakes but if it was me I would wait a day or two and then try again.
You could always message Shmoges! He has KSB

Don't be worried. It sounds like your animal is going to shed. Why not leave it in its enclosure with several inches of substrate and place the feeder on top of the material. This always works for me and I have been breeding sand boas for over a decade. Good luck.:)

I was told by a few people on here when my snake went off feed to wait a week and then try again. You can stress the snake. But that is what others have told me. And that is what I have been doing. I am no expert...so try and wait or find out from care-sheets or whatnot online with your particular breed of snake.

Personally with any non feeder i would wait until the next scheduled feed day before trying again. Last feed my BP fed for the first time in 12 weeks or so and my adult corn refused for the first time since we got him. It is part of owning reptiles i think. Some wont eat cos of their shed schedule, because of time of year, becasue the mouse is white this time and last time it was black, cos the temps are slightly different, the container smells different - you name it and someone probably has had a snake not eat for that reason.

I would only start to be concerned if A) the snake was refusing water as well or B) it started to lose condition or showed other symptoms apart from not eating.
