I'll start with my baby female coastal Jag she gave me one open mouth strike, but then settle right down. She does seem to have that wobble Jag are know for when she get excited.

Sorry Greg no bite shoot yet. But something tell me it won't be long. The male jag took a couple shots. I'll get some better pics once they settle in. Tomorrow feed night so i'll give them each something and see if they eat.

Love the line down the spine on your first jag Chuck, very nice. Is the wobble in her head when she is readying to strike?
Also awesome boa, i love the pattern and the colour contrasts will only get better with age!
The last pics of your second jag show a very interesting pattern and im more than very intrigued to see how this one develops mate. I think you may have a stunner there!

Very nice Chuck! I'm a bit jealous of those, I don't mind saying. The Jungle Jag is a beauty! I'm sure you'll be tagged soon enough, don't worry.

Thanks guys. It's not such a wobble as when she get's excited and raise her head it tend to lend back fun. When she struck it was a straight on shot i was just to fast and got out of the way. I agree he going to be a real stunner. Him with my Diamond x Jungle i think would make some real screamers.

Gorgeous little Dum. One of ours was a little nippy for the first month or so, but seems to have gotten used to us, and the other has not even posed to strike, ever!

Just fed them and all three ate no problem. A plus they all took F/T.:) Both Jags got that carpet feed response. Finger beware! Both Jags are 2010, but the Jungle x Jag is twice the size and already coloring up. So i am guessing he early 2010 and she a late 2010. Can't wait till she starts coloring up.:)

Yep the Dumeril and Jungle x Jag both had a mouse fuzzie. The female had two mice weanling.
Don't worry i plan on getting some headshot. I really want to get a good one of the jungle x jag. It looks like a demon or jester on it's head. Here a pic from the breeder showing it.

that dum is really pretty, has a lot of nice orange :) in a while when i'm more financially stable and have more room to deal with, i hope to get a big female dum for my male. he definetly put off food for mating season this year.

i really like that jag chuck

imo you would be better to try and get it onto rats a.s.a.p. as the older they get the harder it can be to switch from mice to rats mate

i'm looking forward to see this one as an adult

cheers shaun

The mice didn't even leave a lump so this week it going to be rat fuzzies for the Dumeril and Jungle x Jag. The female Jag will get a rat pinky.
Shauny carpet will always be my first addiction in the snake world. Along with them i just like to and one of each of my other favorites. Still want to get a full blooded Diamond someday and A Bismark Ring Python and Black Blood.

Pleases to say they ate for the second time today no problems. The Dumeril about got my finger. Shot out of he hide so fast i didn't even seem him coming. Him and the Jungle x Jag woof them down then acted like they want more. This time they both had a rat fuzzy.
The baby female ate three mice fuzzies. I still had them so that's what she got. Here's a pic of her eating and my Bredli carpet, Diamond x Jungle, BRB, and Yellow Anaconda.

how do jags get the yellow. because i see that the first one is brownish and second one which is my favorite type is yellow

marvelfreak
03-12-11, 07:31 PM
Like Jungles as they get older their color gets brighter. By the age of three they will hit their adult color. So over the next couple years their color will change big time. So with each shed they get more yellow. So in a couple more years the brownish color will be a neon yellow.:)
