At least I think it was a girl. Not sure. Just know I want her...Petsmart just got in a juvenile (slightly older than Vermicelli) "Fancy Cornsnake", that was definitely a Lavender, perhaps another color mutation in there as well, but was motley too!

If I didn't know my mom would kill me, I would've called off the rest of me and my girl's valentines day, and plunked down the cash for her. Beautiful snake...I'm starting to realize how many lucky pickups can be made at chain pet stores...and with the added bonus of saving the snake from a potentially apathetic or unprepared owner :)

About how much should a double-trait+motley corn go for?

Maybe my own personal opinion, but I'd never give over $50 for a corn snake unless it was a snow, then I'd part with $100 tops.

Years ago when I bought my almenistic corns I paid somewhere between 50-60 dollars a piece for them. Corns are similar to BP's they are everywhere. Though having been to a huge expo earlier today I saw BP's going for upwards of 6500 dollars...which to me is insane!

BHB Reptiles has a Pastel Soul Sucker Ball Python for $25,000.

Crazy! Beautiful snake, though.

By the way, I'd love to get that lavendar motley corn you're looking at. I don't know, considering corns and how they're everywhere, I'd say $60 - $90.

Yeah, she's gorgeous, and I think she might be anery as well.

Only downside is she's got the typical beautiful girl attitude going on hahahaha...she wouldn't hold still for even a second. No strikes, but I thought she was gonna go for the guy pulling her out of the viv lol

LOL, ah well.. I'm sure after being worked with for a while she'll at least get used to it. Either that or she's just one of those biters. BHB supposedly says darker snakes are more prone to biting vs. lighter colored snakes. I'm a smidge skeptical. Someone should test this or give insight, should they own light/dark snakes D:

I'm a bit skeptical as well, that seems a little silly. The only possible way that could happen is if the genetic Locii for Anerythrism were close to the Locii that control behaviors, which I think is pretty doubtful.

Then again, I've no experience in the matter, and only one snake who's pretty light in color (and a total sweetie besides!)

Well I don't know if mine is considered light or dark but he's a sweet boy and easy going. :D

Yeah, I definitely lucked out with 'Celli, he's about the calmest baby corn I could ever imagine having. Even with no handling for this last week (when I "lost" him), he's still perfectly content to wind between my fingers, and he doesn't jump or shy away when I touch him with my other hand. Almost enjoys the petting I think hahaha

My boas are like that just as pacid as can be sweet buggers unless ur a rodent of course lol

hahaha yeah 'Celli won't even go after the rodents. He doesn't really strike, he just tries to swallow the pinkies as I'm dangling them from the tweezers. He's pretty silly haha :D

Drool! I want...maybe time to sell that extra kidney ;)

Corns can get pricey...my girlfriend dreams of the day she can afford a pied sided bloodred.

yeah, the ones at the forefront of genetics development fetch pretty high prices...Tessera morph corns go for upwards of 1500!

And any bloodreds look absolutely awesome, let alone Pie-sides. Hopefully she can get one soon, so you guys can post plenty of pics :)
