had my bearded dragon out for a little bit today and was able to catch some photos to give him his minute of glory. Hes a hypo beardie and one of the brightest ive seen, hopefully he wont lose his colors as he gets older.

I have a morph (think it is called a fire?) and though his colors did dull as he got older he still looks way different than a normal beardie. I bet the same will be with this little guy. And he is very cute! He is all full of attitude and spunk?

a lot of the hypos were really dull in color and this guy stood out. thanks for the nice comments. he hasnt given me any attitude yet and hopefully never.

My guy is grumpy and lets me know about it. If I wake him when he is sleeping he hisses at me, if I pick him up and he doesn't want to (or when I am ready to put him back in his home and he doesn't want to) he will open his mouth and hiss puffing up all big and bad. He has never bitten but is not shy about letting me know if he doesn't want something done and him not ready LOL

LOL, mine never hisses or anything, but when I try to pick him up after he's done snoozing he'll grumpily lean to the side and lazily kick up some sand with a single leg, as if saying,"Get away! I don't want to wake up." Otherwise he's pretty calm, likes to fall asleep on my leg. I guess, more accurately said, mine is lazy. His name should be Lazybones.

Anyways, absolutely stunning beardie you got there.~ Loving that orange look. :>

Thats whats so great about bearded dragons, they all have their own personality and they are not afraid to show it.

They are great lizards to be sure! I know I will miss my guy when he is gone.

Your lil guy looks great!! Word of caution, however...keep a close watch when the cat is out near him--a claw or bite can happen quickly!

dey frunds. hes crawlin all the cat at times but yea i keep a very close eye on that relationship. she knows that the beardie has more say so in the house than she does.

Sounds like a relationship made in heaven! When I was little our iguana and our cat got along the same way--it's a lot of fun to watch!
