Too late - i already want one!! Will only ever happen should we get a nice lottery win tho - would want an inside/outside enclosure setup (already designed and priced up!) but nowhere near enough space in our current house.

God I have been wanting on for a long long long time! We had a full grown one at the zoo I worked at, another animal the public could look at up close and touch, and I swear that big guy was like a dog. He wanted nothing more than to be fed treats out of your hand and sit in your lap to be pet. I don't think I ever saw him walk LOL He had this huge elaborate space to when he wasn't out with the public, but he would always lounge at the door waiting to be let out again.
I swear one day I will have a lazy lump of a lizard like that!

Please don't take this wrong.. I just want to be helpful.
A big lazy lump of a lizard is an unhealthy lizard.
They require activity and exercise, overfeeding and inactivity equals poor health & early death.

Oh I understand that trust me! Though this guy at our zoo was REALLY old thus our ability to let the public touch and such without fear of anything. I know that lizards need to have room to run, exercise and everything else...just like any other animal. At the same time I also know they enjoy just chilling sometimes and do nothing. That is all I meant. To have a lizard that is bigger than your "average" lizard (like a bearded dragon) and can chill in your lap.

My design is a 6foot by 6foot room with 6 feet of soil and climbing frames etc inside with a pond (that can be drained and refilled easily) that goes out into an outside enclosure off as big as size as i can afford at the time to allow running and more climbing space. Under the soil inside and outside would be a concrete "floor" so that it cant dig its way out. Inside would be heated with MVB outside would have patio heater type arrangement.
<dreams away merrily> :)

The bone structure of their jaws does make it look like they are smiling a lot.
I think that's true of Geckos as well.

So cute, I can't wait until mine is big like Chomper. although my guy doesn't take to people as well as Chomp does. Hoping he warms up a bit with time but you never know.

I see a very distinct pattern there, a pinkie, a thumb, a long middle finger, I prefer to call those his hands. ;)
and the illusion of "huge" is the camera angle again.

Yeah i knew this before getting into it. I don't mind though, I prefer to have a sav that is happy and healthy in the way that it feels best. If he never turns out to be a chomper like sav at least he will be a really cool mini dinosaur. He is getting better with us, haven't attempted to take him out yet but we are working with trust very slowly. Plus I have 3 dogs and a bunch of cats that I can walk and cuddle if need be. :)
But I would LOVE it if he turns out to be like the chomp man.
