i love when my snake..

So we all chose our reptile pets for our own different reasons. Just like humans, every free thinking species, no matter how similar some may be, are all unique and have personal behaviours..

What is one thing about your favorite pet you observe and makes you love it even more?
Mine would have to be when my little JCP finally calms down from his cage rage and knows he's in good hands will wrap around my hand for about a second or 2 squeezing tight enough to crack a couple knuckles and then eases off and chills there for as long as he can.

He's only about 5 months old, hasn't lived in his new home for a full 2 weeks yet and is adapting very well. Love how they are warm to the touch and have an almost velvet feel to them..

Anyone else have some kind of repor with their cold blooded friends?

I love it when my hognose curls up in my hands and just chills. Haven't had her long, and she is just a baby so I am sure she will come up with more creative ways for me to love her even more.

I love it when someone else holds my Jungle Carpet Python and how she will try reach for me so she can come back on to me. Almost like she misses me or feels more comfortable with me.

Our adult BP comes to me and climbs up my arm when I place my hand in his viv. Our Cali King will only come out of his favorite hide when mommy or daddy (me) are in the room. Our BRB is the most docile and easy going snake I've ever had--not even slightly head shy. Our Corn loves slithering between our fingers. Our JCP always assumes the "S-pose," it's quite amusing. Our new Mojave BP sticks her head out of her hide and watches us.

Those examples are just a taste of what I love about each and everyone of our snakes!

i actually made that comment to someone who asked me about jcps. before i really told him anything i said " first off i gotta tell you, they are the crazy people of snakes. living chainsaws that can dislocate their jaw and eat things whole."

but to be on subject. i love it when my maynard curls around his obsolete temp or humidity gauge that are stuck to the walls. or when ghonda is under the aspen in her hide and completely invisible except for the head she is poking out right at the door of her hide

I can't possibly decide a favorite snake, but I love when my first carpet, Voodoo, "asks" to come out. He will dance his head back and forth against the front of the cage, and when I open the door he glides out into my arms.

I also love it when my Burm plays in the bathtub. He loves water and dunks his face and blows bubbles, lol.
I love it when my Spilotes watches me while I'm on the computer. She'll do a slow tongue flick and **** her head to the side like she is trying to figure out what on earth I'm doing, lol.

I'll eventually get used to that feeling too lol... another thing i forgot was whenever my roommate is within 5 feet of him he goes right into "S" position, throws a couple strikes his way and stares at him with his mouth hanging open.. Soooo cute haha

i know they are the next planned buy i have. i almost had one but my aunt ended up keeping it cause i couldnt get it fast enough and she fell in love. little bugger didnt even need to be hand tamed. hasnt bitten her yet its crazy

I love it when they bob their heads left to right while staring at me.

I guess they are showing me who the boss is.

when Fluffy drinks from the squeeze bottle without trying to envenomate me.
When he sheds his skin, when he gently takes food from the tongs, and when he just stays there staring at me from his hide wondering if I can see him.
