I ordered my first snake the other day.
She is a 2010 Jungle Jag!
I wont actually get her until about March though, I have to wait for warmer temps before she can be shipped.
Its going to be a long 3 months
Congrats, she's beautiful! The wait will be well worth it! Keep us updated.

She was produced by William Stegall.
Here is a picture of one that came from the same parents about 2-3 years ago.

I think the wait will be worth while for such a handsome animal, i wonder how long it will be before we see you posting "Getting my second snake",
Congrats and good luck:)

Thanks everyone.
If my wife has her way I wont be getting a second snake. Although I'm sure I can convince her otherwise.
^^ Let the plotting begin!

thats a very strong clean yellow on that one and a good indication of how yours will turn out
what percentage of jungle is she ?
have you any plans to breed her once up to size ?
cheers shaun

I'm not sure how much jungle is in her.
I would really like to breed her. But like I said, first I have to
convince my wife.

Hilarious Rob!

Beautiful JCP! You need to get rid of the heat rock; they can overheat and burn your snake. I'd suggest a UTH (under the tank heater) or a ceramic emitter. I'm not trying to scold you (pun intended)...Just trying to ensure the safety of your snake!

As others have said heat rock = no go! Under aquarium heater = yes yes! Seen to many cases of burnt snakes and lizards. Not pretty or fun.
Yes i bought an under the tank heater, i have now cut the cord to the heat rock and it is in the tank just for her to lie on top of. The heat from the under tank heater absorbs into the rock I'm thinking, cause she spends a lot of time on it.
