Hi Dumeril daddy! I became a Dumeril mommy to 2 little boys this year after wanting one for many years. There actually seems to be quite a few Dum keepers here. I don't think anyone could be ashamed to own a Dum, they're just not as common due to the lack of morph breeding possibilities. I think they're one of the most naturally beautiful snakes and most seem to have great temperaments. Here's a link to a thread with some pics of my boys. Hello and welcome. Dumeril's are really nice boas IMO. My fiance had one for about two years, but he ended up selling it. It was a really nice snake- very friendly and curious. He was just a pain in the butt to feed...we could never get him to take more than one mouse at a time, wouldn't touch rats, wouldn't eat f/t or p/k.
