Did your snake shed recently? She/he may have been a little plugged up and finally was comfortable enough to relieve her/himself, causing that explosion.

The more veteran keepers/breeders should have answers for you. Snake stool will vary between species; my colubrids are extremely messy while my pythons typically excrete a nice, solid "log" (sorry, loss of words!).

That does look abnormal, but then it does look like there are a lot of urates mixed in

it looks like the mother of all poop to me

as said theres plenty urates present

when i used to do free shifts at a local reptile shop to gain experience i have to admit pine snakes flung out some of the nastiest looking poop

your going to have fun cleaning up after that one mate:shocked:

cheers shaun

Alot of my colubrids poops look like that.... a little darker but same consistency and what looks like intestines. but it always has a smell!

Colubrid poop is terrible. Yuck, it is the smelliest ever. My FWC is a real nasty boy. When he takes a dump the whole room stinks for hours, even after I've cleaned it up.
