Yeah I think he's had enough by then lol. Some people have mentioned to me that's he's a 50/50 (pattern wise not species) JCP. He wasn't sold to me as such but as a locality specific specimen, so I've not taken them too seriously. A few people have mentioned that now so if he is a 50/50 then I got and absolute bargain from the breeder. He was a holdback clearout, gotta love buying snakes two months before hatchies arrive :yes:. Best time to get holdbacks at cheap prices from breeders making room for the new hatchies. I'm trying to get a female for him that's a similar pattern and hopefully produce some RPs a few years from now.

that is a gorgeous jungle, i love the green, mines a lemon/lime hilghter color, but that deep beautiful green is awesome

the variation in the colours of jungles makes them one of my favorite carpets

theres are really good high quality german bloodline over here that produces the cleanest most vibrant yellow ive ever seen in morelia

im a fan of the ivory jungles as well

nice jungle mate i hope you find a nice female for him

I've spoken to a few breeders already for a possible mate as it's hatching season here so hopefully towards the end of Jan next year I'll have a female for him.

Alright I need some participation here from all you guys, as I have had an idea from an OZ forum.

Can everybody who owns a JCP add a pic of theirs to this thread and will see if we can make a mammoth thread like the head shots thread. It would be nice to see the contrasting looks of everybody's JCPs in colour and patterns in one thread. It would be great if we had all the JCP pics in one thread.

Here you go then. You might want to see if Wayne could change the tile to The Jungle Carpet Thread or something like that. So when people read the tile they will know it about Jungles.

She didn't want to be photographed, but she can't bite me if she's in her hide. She compromised, so here's a fresh picture.

She's about 18 months old, about 6' long, but only weighs about a pound. She was 3 ounces and about 3 feet when I got her in May.

Red ink, thanks for the kind words on Electra. She's a great girl, and I need to get some newer pics. She's grown quite a bit since I got her. She's got a lot more yellow to her than a lot of jungles I've found, which is why I snapped her up. She's not a jag, but I think she has pretty reduced pattern.

I was recently at an expo and got to hold an adult Carpet Python, but I'm not sure if it was a jungle or not. It was kind of striped with a dulled black and an off color yellow. At any rate, I absolutely loved it, was a shame I only had $100, they were $600 each.

The same expo will be in town next month, so maybe the same people will be there and have the carpet pythons. Can take a picture if you all want.

I got mine for $60 Malus but I've seen that they can be a lot more expensive than that, like a couple hundred bucks but I'm not positive.

Here's my angry little brat, Silver (for her eyes)! She's half jungle, half coastal. She's twice this size now, and probably tries to bite maybe 40% less *lol* she used to POOP on me too, cuz she was scared...duh. She was only my second snake, and first one that little, so I had to learn the hard way...lol

So anyway, she chills out on her UTH most of the time, peeks at me. She lets me hold her now, but she gets fussy fast. I have to be careful picking her up after food though! She's onto large mice, now, rather than the pinky in the pic!
