do brb's get brighter with age cause i was looking at some babies and they all looked bland and they were bred from high reds

Yes, most BRBs are born a dull brown or brownish red, and begin to color up with a few sheds. If you are looking for a very bright snake with lots of contrast, then I recommend the Peruvian rainbow boa. They are slightly more tolerant of temperature fluctuations than BRBs, and tend to have brighter base colors and more extreme contrasts. My PRB has been a great snake for the 2 years I've had him.
