I am Seriously considering Adopting a RTB, the previous owner is out of room and needs to downsize her collection, she is going to try and convince the boy friend to sell me the cage and full set up, however in the event that that falls through, What Would you guys Recommend for housing ect.

Ive always been exclusively pythons and colubrids, so a boa is a new thing for me, but when i saw the puppydog eyes on this big guys face i couldnt say no....

Wooden or composite mold tanks are what I use for my boas. Not sure how big your boy is but mines 7 1/2 feet so he's in a 5' long 3' deep 2' tall wooden tank with plexiglass front opening doors. Wooden or composite molded tanks are easier to keep the heat and the humidity where it should be. Glass viv's with a screen top let's out a lot of heat and humidity. (heat rises) I use a ceramic heat emitter inside the box with a protective metal cage. Hope this helps. Build one yourself if your able. It's easy and saves money.
