i just looked back and my snake was in his hide with his head out front, then i looked back a minute later and he had his mouth ALL the way open and he held it open for like 30 seconds then closed it and went back to normal lol. anyone know why he would do it?

i figured it was normal, i just didn't know why it was doing it. yawning makes perfect sense lol. O.o

Wait til you see a retic or GTP do it!! You would think the universe would fall into their mouths!! The GTP jaws go pretty much 180degrees when fully open, is pretty awesome.

if you stand right there with a camera when feeding, you stand a better chance at a big yawn shot.
Indeed, if you catch your snake 'yawning' they are usually re-aligning their jaw which they often need to do after eating.

On jungles inside of their moth and tongue is purple.
