Hi guys I got a GTP at an expo last week and just recently started handling him/her. I noticed on its lower jaw a little bump. I know its not scale rot or mouth rot. I even checked the inside of its mouth and it looks normal. des anyone know what it is? The camera doesn't pic it up at all and doesnt even show.

Wish i could help, but without a pic don't have a clue. I take it to a vet and get it checked out.

The bump actually went away after she shed. I brought her to the vet anyway and he said she looks fine but to keep an eye on it.

She has a humidfier thats on a 2 hour on/ off cycle during the day and i let the cage dry out at night. It didt look like a blister so i doubt it was that. Anyway its gone now, lets just hope it doesnt come back!

dont know about a water blister might been one, but i see GTPs that get bumps on there skin because the humidity is too high, i spray my cage about 2 to 3 times a week and let it dry out good, been doing it for 3 years now, but i seen people spray everyday and there GTP is good. i would just keep an eye on it to see if it comes back.

My GTP is still young, pre coloir change, i spray twice a day and the cage dries inbetween the spraying. Directly after spraying the humidity is about80%.
