There is something inherently evil yet totally beautiful about the look of an anaconda - totally love them but too big for me to keep -photos every day please?!!

Ammeratsu, that is a lovely looking anaconda!
Nafun, that is VERBATIM the conversation I consistently have with my girlfriend!!! If I recall, the last one we had:
me: "Oooohhh, look at how pretty she is.....can we get her?
her: "Oooohhh, what kind is she?
me: "She's a Super Dwarf Ret...."
her: "NO!"
me: "but they only get 6-8 fe..."
her: "HELL NO!"
me: "but our JCP will get that big"
her: "NOOOO"
me: :(
Good times! And again, great snake! I'm very jealous, both you and marvelfreak have wonderful looking anacondas.

Haha, thanks. I'm sooo happy to have her, even though she bites me everytime I touch her! I've taken to gloves lately so I don't pull back when she bites. I accidentally made her lose two teeth because she bit me and I drew my hand back really fast. Gloves help me not flinch. I've been holding her daily in hopes shell calm down.
I had similar conversations with my mom until she finally gave up. I nagged her everyday and set up the enclosure until she finally gave up and let me buy her. It took a lot. My moms not afraid of snakes, just anacondas. Figures that I want the only snake she's afraid of, haha.

:Wow:Looking beautiful!:Wow: For the biting you could try misting lightly with a water bottle. I found any time any of my snake act aggressive this calm them right down and i can handle them no problem.

Thanks. You and Nafun just aren't trying hard enough.
Problem is, my wife says nothing over 8 feet, and since I won't handle a snake that long by myself, that means no giants for me. Hoping to find a dwarf burmese breeder. I love the coloring and pattern of Burmese, but 200lbs of snake is more than I can handle.

I'm in complete agreement with you (and my girlfriend shares the same views as your wife).
Bob Clark has some for $500: Bob Clark - Dwarf Burmese python (Python b. progshai) (http://bobclark.myshopify.com/products/dwarf-burmese-python-python-b-progshai)
Look at the baby in his hand (so cute!). I think I am going to wait until they have dwarf albino burmese pythons...

I should never have clicked that link... I could get in trouble on that site.

Well, she had her first meal with me today. I was a little worried. The previous owners were feeding her live rat pups. I don't feed live(I'm not against it, but can't stand to do it myself), and I couldn't even find frozen rats small enough for her. So I got her the same thing I get my rosy boa; f/t mice. Well, no problem! She hangs out in the water 98% of the time(which I don't believe to be a problem, just a preference), so I just wiggled it around by the tail above the water. She struck it so fast I didn't even know what happened! She wolfed it down faster than I've ever seen a snake eat. I fed my rosy boa at the same time, and she only had swallowed the head by the time my anaconda was done.
So I'm pleased. No problems eating, healthy snake, and beautiful. Couldn't ask for more.

Congrats, I'm glad to hear the pretty little gal had no problems with the F/T!
