That's great! The perfect disguise!

Here's my little BRB being similarly silly...

She's like "what you looking at, dirt on the head is the new style!"

Cute! My Borneo did that last week and i started to freak think she got out of her cage. I flipped her light on then i seen her nose just barely peeking out.

That's what Dumerils do naturally. Unfortunately not enough people give them the proper environment to do that. I used to love watch mine work her way in like that then lunge out and snatch a mouse at feeding time.

My Boa likes to bury himself as well. Been considering an eco earth substrate as opposed to cyprus. So he can dig more. What do you all think?

I've never used cypress, but my BR Boa would likely be a VERY angry little gal if I took away her eco earth substrate.

She forms extremely intricate tunnel systems. I of course, mix up the substrate every other day to ensure proper moisture distribution. The next day, a new system of tunnels!

I bet he will love it! (Just my opinion though).

I use coco fibre for my milksnakes and they love to hide and burrow in it too. doesnt seem to stick to prey items, even when damp.
