Thanks percey, as do you! I was supposed to see Slipknot about 6 years ago, but they cancelled and I was nearly heartbroken! Apparently, my small town didn't sell enough tickets (jerks) and so everyone suffered. That was the last year they performed live (in my neck of the woods) before resurfacing x amount of years later. Still haven't seen them (They rival Dimmu for #1 on my list to see live...solely based on sentimentalism).

Insurrection, I'm very jealous of you seeing Dimmu Borgir in concert! They are #1 on my list to see! I'd love to see Kataklysm and Unearth, and I missed Gwar.

infernalis, you were lucky to see Floyd!

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only metal-head herp lover! \m/ ^_^ \m/

I hope the time will come and you get your chance:yes:

Definitely reccommend them all! I was fortunate enough to meet kataklysm's vocalist when I saw them it was really awesome. I would love to go to another one of there shows.

My dream is to go to Wacken open air in Germany, I wish I was closer

Last night was sweet. Despised Icon are one of my favourite bands and they were insane live as was The Red Shore ( good aussie death core check them out )
Im going to a big festival early next year and cant wait as i scored back stage pass and passes to the after party. Dimmu is playing there as is Slayer, Maiden, Ill Nino, Devil Driver, BMTH, Megadeath and many more. I CANT WAIT

Count me in!
just curious... have you ever heard of a little band called dungeon? one of my favourites as well!
I love my heavy stuff, but I'm a sucker for the stuff that's a little more melodic, yet still heavy!

You did say "passes" didn't you?! You know, there's this one guy back in the states who'd love to go! lol

Fast, hard, heavy, dark, epic, techno, melodic, or any combination!

Of course, the faster, harder, heavier, darker, the more epic, technical, and melodic, the better!

Haha deal was i get to go as well my mate who's uncle got us the tickets and 3 other mates lol. We met BFMV which was not a big deal for me as im not a fan but was hoping to meet BMTH but they already left damn it.
Im a huge fan of death core, black metal, hardcore, heavy metal and many sub genre's of these. I cant wait the one im dying to meet is Kerry King as his snake collection is sick. Also Rob Zombie will be good to meet as well as he is at the same festival.

I have heard dungeons name mentioned by friends but have never listened to them, i will look into them now.

Much rather be around a lot of animals than a lot of people anytime. We have a close knit group of friends and family that we hang out with and thats about it.

i used to soak it up back in the day when you got the odd random that tried to cause trouble

re scottish temprement
hell im probaly the smallest bouncer (door man ) thats ever been at 5ft 4 inch

i was 12 stone and teaching judo at the time so it was a good laugh chucking the over 6 footers out without a single punch

that appealed to my scots sense of humor:yes:

it was good money for next to no work

it did grate on me after a while so i gave it up

to be honest the folk you met were all fake

they were out their faces on drink or drugs

if you ever looked them up when they were sober the were completely different people

it was a great job for the single guys as the women came in all different shapes and sizes

ive been with my wife since i was 15 years old so that bit was of no interest to me (hope my wifes reading this, haha)

Ah nice young sweethearts, i have been with mine since i was 16 as well lol. Thats the problem with security as you miss out on the fun with mates when your young, you have to kick them out when your working and you deal with the goons at close. I thought about it when i was 19 but changed my mind very quickly.

you and i are both lucky men re relationships then mate

i hear what your saying

if im being honest there were times that i was envious of my single mates (for a split second here and there)

that said im glad i never did anything stupid

they say behind every great man there is a great woman

now all my single mates of the time have been through countless failed relationships and now live sad drunken lonely lifes.(a few have even took their own lives)

where as i have been with my wife for 28 years

i was 15 she was 14 when we met on the monday i asked her out on the wednesday and we've been together ever since

its our 23rd wedding anniversary next year

id love to take her to oz for our 25th anniversary

yes mate we're both lucky guys re women

Very lucky indeed, i dragged mine through hell and back and she is still here!! Flights are pretty cheap at the moment and the way things are going they will only be getting cheaper. Maybe if you get those darwins you will really be able to go all out on a holiday with a breeding under your belt lol, if only reallity was that simple ey.

shaunyboy
11-14-10, 08:13 AM
my wifes been a saint compaired to me mate:yes:

yes if i could grab those darwins it would really be a great thing

if they bred for me then i would really be in the money

they are the only pair of pure darwins i know of outside oz

do they go for a higher price than other morelia over there mate ?

are the rarer than other morelia in oz ?

the man selling them has probaly the best reputation in europe

so folk would know they were pure darwins with locale history

he is regarded as a god to all things boa

among other things

he was out there 30 to 40 years ago studying snakes and figuring out how to keep them healthy in captivity

just noticed we're back on topic mate funny how things go when 2 snake obsessed folk get yapping, haha

cheers shaun

percey39
11-14-10, 08:18 AM
Haha its funny how that happen quite frequently especially when im involved lol. Darwins are a very commonly kept species and are rather cheap over here. Eventhe alnbinos are getting to fairly good price from memory a juvie pairwas being advertised for $1900 for the albinos and for pure locality specimens any where from $200-$400 ( that must make your blood boil )

that would be £2926 for albino's

over here your looking at £20,000 = 30800 ozzy dollars mate

pure locality specimens well the only pair i know of are £10,000 = 15400 ozzy dollars

to think it could be as simple as you packing them with heat pads and posting them over it makes me want to cry at times mate

especially when we both know it goes on among a very select few already

cheers shaun

percey39

It would be 1160 pounds for albino's and 250 tops for pure normals. I know what you mean mate it happens all to often and its all about knowing the right people!
