hey its feeding day again and my carpet was scared of the food i put it in front of him and he moved away after several attempts i gave up didnt want to stress him should i feeed him later or wait till next week

I try leaving it in the cage over night. As long as it's not live.

Have to agree with Chuck here. Leave the prey in the box, move him somewhere dark and quiet and leave him overnight. Good luck!
sorry i left out some info he was raised on live for three years (before i got him)
it was a F/T i offered and he got scared of it
i went tho the pet store bought a live i fresh killed it and he ate it but VERY slow NO strike or nothing now im even more worried but he did eat it

Keep feeding like this and before long he be use to it. After awhile you can which him to F/T and he'll never know.:)
If your prey has already been defrosted, I leave it in there overnight. If it's not taken by the morning, into the toilet it goes..
