a funny thing happened

So this has been a weird day but I now know that I love home depot (if I can't say there name I am sorry). We took Dakota to our daughters class today and decided to pick up a new light at the pet. I quickly found out that the home improvement next door would be a better choice one problem I did not want to leave her in the car it is cold outside and I live in yakima they would break your window just to have fun. So I thought home improvement no big deal she rides very well on my neck we knew exactly what we were after and about were it was so in we go walking very fast to get in and then out two greeter employees at the door ask is it real I say yes and keep walking (they say cool) as I turn around I here and see a older lady throwing a fit asking why they are allowed to bring that thing in the store we sped up wanting to get our light before they said leave. Ran into another employee who took us to the lights asked and touched dakota the whole time she did not leave my neck. A few other customers asked and talked to us about 5 min and we were almost to check outs when she was still up front complaining saw us got mad and walked into the store when we were checking out I took my daughter and dakota to the car (I again was not trying to start anything I just did not want her to get to cold) I usually warm a towel and put it into her box and it had cooled when my husband got to the car he said the store manager called the check out stand we're were at and said our pet is just as welcome in his store as any other animal people bring in. I thought that was awesome and from now on no last minute stops when dakota has to go out for some reason.

i had a similar thing happen at the mall (i just hate the mall and the old lady was a security gaurd who was a punk to me cause he was afraid of my 14'' bp)

I would not normally take her to a store with me but we live out of town and I did not want to go home and then back to town to get a 7 dollar light I thought it would save me on hassle and gas. :)
