I was watching a TV show called "Billy the Extermiator" he sprayed what he call reptile repellent. Said it made from a Garlic base.................... (wait for it), "because reptile don't like garlic and if sprayed once a month around your yard it'll keep snakes away." The people had a rattle snake problem so after catching a 6 foot rattler he spays this stuff all over their yard and tell them this will keep snakes away and he'll be back in a month to spray again. Has anyone ever heard of this?
Plus did you know snakes have really good hearing  and kids playing and make a lot of noise can attract snakes. He might catch a lot of snake on the show, but i think he needs to do a little reading and get his facts straight.

I can't stand the look of the idiot myself & can barely tolerate him for more than a minute or 2.
When it comes to facts he's pretty much totally useless unless of course you are looking for the wrong answers that is.
I can't wait until the show is cancelled as all the guy does is spread inaccurate BS, & is a useless POS IMHO Mark

I have here a special rock I will ship you if you want. Guaranteed that if you club those unwanted family members over the head with it, they will stop showing up:eek:
Billy may be an annoying punk rocker wannabe, but I admire his respect for life... Most exterminators I have ever heard of slaughter snakes rather than relocate them, So I do tip my hat to that facet of the show. (My kids like the guy, so I get stuck watching it often enough.)

Guy likely has some good to him, but its overshadowed by all the BS & hype the TV folks get off on.
He's just one of those guys I can love to hate anyhow LOL Mark

You guys have to remember, tv shows I think add some bs for the entertainment value. Not saying the show is pointless and idiotic...
Only snake show I watch is snake wranglers... and use to watch python hunters but it don't seem to be on any more...
As for the show in question. The one episode I seen was horrible... enough said.

One episode they killed some Nutria (Myocastor coypus), then made sure to send the carcasses to the zoo for gator food.

Just tossing this out there since we are on the subject of rodents.
Trivia - Bats are not rodents.
Bats are mammals of the taxonomic order Chiroptera

over here its pigeons that get called flying rodents
wood pigeons are a type of bird that are legally classed as rodents re killing them.its perfectly legal to kill rodents over here as they are seen as pests.
not beavers though im pretty sure they are protected by law.
so im taking it beaver dam has a more than its fair share of beavers mate ?

I have seen footage of a snake eating a bat before.
if I recall correctly it was a Childrens or a Spotted Python hanging outside the cave as they were exiting it, Mark

RTB eat bats. they hang from branches by the mouth of a cave and snatch them out of the air. can't remember where i saw that, Life or Planet Earth maybe. maybe it was just a special, i can't remember.

I'm sure there are lots of species that would prey on them in the wild.
Heck the entrance to a Batcave would be a perfect spot to hang out afterall, Mark

Childrens are quite notorious here for eating bats, if you ever want to see a childrens in the wild, a cave system in their home range would be the best place to start. Spotteds do it as well but they are more of a rodent and reptile feeeder.
Scrubbies, olives and large diamonds are often fed on a diet of rabbits down here four or five times a year.
