help with columbian boa

Hey my brother was driving to his house today and found a 3 and a half foot Columbia boa laying across the street he caught it . I have a baby jcp how big of a cage should I keep it in and what temperments should I keep it until I can find it a home thanks for the help. I assume they are a lot different then jcp's

Yea we went and asked everyone but noone claimed it. I would keep it but I'm pretty new to snakes. Are they uasually pretty tame?

its very tame how do I find out if its boy or girl

I keep all my Carpets the same as i use to keep my red tail boas. you'll want the humidity a little high around 70%. Really love to see pictures of the boa. Cage size 2'x2'x4' would should be big enough to work for the rest of it life.

you take it to the vet and they stick something in its butt to find the sexual organs, i believe.

they probe the cloaca and depending on what they feel/depth the probe can go they can tell you if its a boy or a girl. or they can just pop the cloaca and check.
