Just finished building a custom cage for my green iguana and put the finishing touches on the whole room. The room is heated by one portable heater keeping it in the 90's during the days and 70's at night. I have a indoor grow light on pulleys to provide light for the room as well as a few other lights for the iguanas. I'm also starting to ferment wine wich bubbles c02 to feed my plants, wich turn it into oxygen for the reptiles while the grow light provides extra heat and of course light. Many hobbies helping each other.

Got some nice snakes there man, maybe just the way the photos are done but couple of them look like they have no hides? Are they just out of shot in the pics?

Very nice set up, I am envious that you have the room. And nice work with your hobbies helping each other out. Mine tend to collide...

I love vision cages if I get more hots I will definatelly be getting more visions. It's currently housing my FWC, but i'm trading him for 3 new NorPacs and will be moving my current NorPac into it once i'm sure he can't squeeze through the glass. Only downsides are they're a pain to clean and be carefull to only use low wattage heat bulbs as not to melt the plastic like I did...
Thanks took a while but thanks to patience and help from alot of you I have them all in ideal conditions. And properly medicated and treated for problems. Finally got some Baytril to treat the stomatitis and RI in my red tail and Burm. Plus Mite spray to get rid of any existing mites and prevent future ones.
Looking really good. Really like to see more pics of your Burms.
Here ya go.

very nice pics, I really like your red iguana. i tried to get one years ago and never found one and ended up buying a green with some small red marking but nothing that nice.

Oddly enough he is a green iguana. We don't know why if it was a diet change or what but her turned red. I know their color fades with age but he's ...well....relly red...
FWC is gone and has been replaced with 3 new NorPacs.

I pretty sure red and green iguana's are the same thing, the red is just a morph. Very nice tho :) same as that burm, i have always loved burms. i would die to get my hands on a granite.

if i could walk in a petstore and see a granite burm i would be in heaven lol, i would have not have left the store with out it. i finnaly found one last year and i emailed the guy who had taken it on trade for another snake and he said he just got rid of it days prior and i had sat and thought it over for like 2 weeks, i was so mad/sad at the same time :(

Don't buy a boa from petco.... way over priced. Check out/post an ad on your local Craigslist, or check out a reptile show.

lol Craigs list is full of a holes that just want to make money off their pets and dont care about their well being and no reptile shows ever come to my area there is one in seattle in about a week but i have no money to buy a reptile there and no way there so yet again i just get to "know" its happening. and over priced or not i'd still buy it if i had the money for it this one i was looking at was amazing

i would have to dissagree, IMHO it is the exact opposite. Petco could care less about their retile and sell them for a profit, most people on craigslist are selling old pets they can no longer keep, or they are small time breeders like I will soon be and selling snakes from my pets i take very good care of, petco on the other hand does not keep pets , they keep breeders to make $. i only buy from Breeders that provide a great quality of snake they sell, like mark at gonesnakee and henry piorun, " a shout out becuase im so happy buying my snakes from them, and i cant say it enouph" :) but anyways as far as a granite burm goes, i would buy that baby and run lol

I agree with freebody. Local petco has a burm I wanted to make sure they were knowledgeable on it becauseit didn't seem like a good place to sell a giant python baby. Hate to see a parent get it for a kid not realizing how quickly it gets huge so i asked a couple workers. None of them knew anything about them. Infact I asked how big they get and one even said "uhh.....about 5 feet"...Screw that place.

that is just the reason to remove them from that enviorment. i have had too many cases where i get overcharged/price changed and half the time i end up not even getting the snake because they back out. on the other hand if you buy from petco it is always sold the price never changes and you can pick and chose which one you want who cares if they know or dont how long it gets i know how long it gets and i know the heat and humidity lvls (or im not getting the snake) so really its just another personal preference thing. i do get from CL and i do get from petCo.

Oh I'm all for experienced people buying from there if they want. It just pisses me off they don't know or care about them and sell potentially dangerous snakes to kids and unexperienced people saying they only get a couple feet long.

oh yea. for a child and adoption is prob best to ensure safety (after thoroughly checking for temperament) but then i dont think anyone under the age of 16 should have a snake (despite my best efforts since 10) because its a lot of responsibility for an unguided un experienced sub adult to handle safely

Oh I'm all for experienced people buying from there if they want. .
Funny part about that is experienced people don't like to pay double or triple for herp supplies.
I walk into that store and my money holds on tight and won't allow me to part with it.
Seriously, these days I can have 2-3 hides, bags of substrate or water bowls shipped to my house for less than they charge for one off the shelf.
From where I live it is a 45 minute drive to the store, another 45 back home, I drive an SUV so figure 8 bucks worth of gas, wear and tear and my odometer advances another 50 miles.
Online suppliers get really attractive when you factor all that.
