What I do for mine, and just me not everyone does it this way or will even suggest to, bit other works for me.....
I have mine in a 10gal glass, 2 hides big water bowl a tree, and jungle floor bedding. Every day I wake up I heavily mist the cage with hot water, I use hot bc by time it hits the cage the small water particles are small and not as hot.... I drenched it in the morning!!!! And I have a towl that I cut in 1/2 and put over each side of the lid with the heat lamp in the middle over the water.
Humidity will stay up around 89-95 most of the day dropping down to round 70 towards the night. I have had 3 perfect sheds and she eats and potty with no problem!!!!
Hope this helps you out a bit... we love pics too!!!

Are you any good with assembling woodworking??
One thing I do that saves a lot of money is get a big sheet of wood and have home depot cut it into panels. (They have the huge table saw, I don't) and then pick a sheet of glass up at the local glass shop. (Ask scraps are usually very cheap)
You can put together a viv for about $30 that will hold humidity, look good and be bigger than any aquarium and loads cheaper than a boa cage from a reptile store.
Shortly after I took this photo, I moved the light. I now heat the whole room, so I use cool lighting. (Low energy, low power, low temps, no burns)

Here's a pic of my BRB cages(tub). Three hides, on water bowl, and in the middle one lid that i put it food on so it doesn't get Repi Bark in it's mouth. I mist one every other day.

I have mine in a 3x2x2 cage with a couple of hides and a large soaking tub. The soaking tub really ups the humidity in the cage without getting everything wet. I never mist

ferret is dead too snake killed it but died shortly after apparently. that ladies and gentlemen is why ferrets need to be put back in their cages when nobody is there to monitor them and why they invented locks and weights to go onto snake tanks

my ferret here has run of the house with my 3 dogs, but i know what you mean, they spend all day figuring out new and improved ways to get into trouble lol, my ferrets favorite things to do is investigate everything steal what evr he can and bring it under the couch. one day i was feeding my retic and for a split second while i was looking for my ferret he sneaked by me and managed to open the feeding bid i was using until i started feeding in her cage now after reading the all the posts here, and she bit him right on the nose but they are so fast the ferret got away. no i take no chances. i make sure he locked up 100% of the time before snake cages are opened. sorry to hear of the recent losses. :(
