How to secure branches?

Hey guys I just purchased a big climbing branch for Sydney my jungle carpet python. She's in a 20 high right now and Im setting up her 40 gal breeder while she grows. I am wondering how I can secure the branch so that she wont knock it down when she gets bigger. I was going to place it from the bottom corner to the top corner of the tank. At the top corner I will be placing a big resting area so she can relax a little higher up.

Whats the best way to secure the branch? I was thinking silicone maybe but Im not sure.

What are some things you have done in the past?

Feel free to post any pictures to give me examples.

Unless your able to secure it using friction (squeezing it against the sides) or able to screw it to secure it (i did that in my wooden cage), I've found that using a hot glue gun to secure the branches is best.
I glued the branch the the floor of the cage, then surrounded it with a couple big stones and then put the substrate (cypress mulch) over it covering the stones and glue.
The other side I leaned into the corner of the cage.
So far I've had no issues, but my snakes are still less than a year and less than 500g (barely lol)

you can use the mounts you use on your closet poles. have you looked at the pvp branches people make and use by taking a tourch to the pvp pipe twisting it and bending it and putting a nice burn on it, looks great and use the mounts and you can remove it to clean :)

I have a 40 gal breeder tank so its all glass.....

You can use those kind of hangars with glass as well. Just get a tube of silicone and attach them to the wall of the tank with that.
