New Jungle Jag girl from Mike Curtin :D

I got my first ever jaguar carpet on Saturday. I've been waiting for this girl and setting everything up and was thrilled when I saw her and brought her home. She is from a very special pairing of a very clean male jungle jaguar to a female striped jungle. She has a neat vanishing line down her side connecting some of the vertical horseshoes, and probably carries stripe line genetics. She also has a wicked head pattern- I think it looks like an old rabbit-ear TV! I'm working on a good name for her now. Her mom was named Lillie and this girl is a very delicate dainty little thing, so I'm thinking maybe Lucy or Sophie, but it's always hard to decide on the name. Anyway, I'm thrilled to death to have her. :)

Beautiful Jag Kim. I really like her head pattern. She got some sweetmarking. I am betting she going to color up to be a sweet lemon yellow by the looks of her color now. Can't wait to see more pics. I really like to see a nice Headshot of her head pattern. (hint,hint):)

She's actually all pink in the tummy, so she is most likely going into shed and should be lighter once she sheds out. Mike said she is normally a bit lighter, but not a very bright yellow, more of a sunflower cream color. Her parents are both smokers, and I'm thrilled to have this girl. She was very special to Mike and she is to me as well. :) Thank you for the kind comments.

Carpets have the coolest head patterns for sure! I've seen skulls, skull and crossbones, hearts, hourglasses, and on my girl, a TV...gotta love the carpets!

Wow she`s just gorgeous!!! That mark on the head is on a load of old buildings near me too! A stone masons makers mark and it looks just like that! Huh... I`ll have to photograph it for you :)

Mike is an awesome guy all around, and a great friend. My fiance suggested we name her TiVo, because the marking on her head is a dead ringer for the TiVo symbol, and I think that name is quirky and unique as she is, so it seems a good choice. What do you guys think?

I like tivo maybe think of some other names that involve the tv marking. Since shes an austrailian snake how about Tele (tel-lee) i know aussies call the tv a tele. I just named my female carpet Sydney. Sheila was very high up on my list of names too. Good luck! Names can be soooo hard sometimes.

Lol. I think I'm going to stick with TiVo. I ran it by Mike and he loved it. This girl was very special to him,and I'm very grateful he passed her on to me, so I wanted to make sure he approved of any silly names. Shaun, I will get a lot more, better pics of her once she sheds out. She's very pink in the tummy, so methinks she will be sporting a new skin soon. ;)

I will get more pics of her soon. She is starting to cloud up, so she isn't at her best for the camera right now. As soon as she is sporting her new skin, I will post up more pics. Expect to see lots of pics of her as she grows; she's a treasure to me. ;)
