After a lot of research, work and money i finally got me a nice little ETB at the expo today.

Congratulations! They are great snakes, and not near as bad as popular opinion would lead you to believe. I have 3 and they are all tame as anything. As long as you've done your research you should be fine and have years of enjoyment. ;) Best of luck with the new little fellow, and I look forward to seeing pics of the color change.

Thanks for the compliments everybody. I know emeralds don't deserve the reputation they get. This little guy has been great so far even after a long trip in my car. he spent the night exploring his new home and settled in nicely. I'll post pics every now and then to show his progress.

I'm not sure when the expo is in may but I bought him last year at the september expo. I don't like to go to those things too often because they're way too tempting. Right now i'm trying to sell a fish tank setup to make space and money to buy this little guy a girl friend.

Thanks for all the compliments everybody. I'll be putting up more pics soon. I put some updated pics up a few weeks ago. He's getting more and more green every day. I love watching him change.

There's not a lot of boa/pythons that I just plain want, but these are an exception. I LOVE these guys, even if they don't move. They're just so COOL.

I'm not worried abouts those pretty teeth. My guy is great. Never aggressive. I can even handle him during his 'blue' phase of his shed.
