Hay to everyone! I'm so happy I can join and learn all i can about reptiles!! I've had everything growing up except snakes (mom is terrified) so now that I'm moved out i can have whatever i want. Oh umm, the snake i have is some kind of king snake I'm not sure what she is... i was hoping someone could help me. she is all black, everything. i was told she was a Mexican king snake but when i looked them up they all had white specks or such... Sorry for making this so long!! thanks if u can help me!

I have a juvi mexi king. They all tend to to have some white on them. With mine it is only a small patch under the chin. Take a look there I hear that quite a few have their white there.
Thaey are great little snakes. The only advise I have is not to handle it after any other snakes but you said its you first so I will just say, not after any other animals. Mine goes crazy when it smells any other herps(lizards and especially other snakes).

Hello and welcome! My buddy as a Black Mexican King. It's black from head to tail never had any white. Love to bite him to. lol It will bump it's head against his hand once then bites. Only does once in a blue moon now. Use to do it weekly when it was young.

i have a mexican black. when they are younger they tend to have white speckle on them and a white patch under their chin. some grow out of it and some keep the white on them there whole life. i love my mexican black but he is a little more flighty than the rest of my snakes.
