at least 24 hour. 48 is better. i believe it has alot to do with your snakes personality. if he is easily excitable, and most new snakes are, i would wait 48 hours. if you snake is very docile and doesn't mind handling i would say 24 hours is fine. my kingsnakes don't have a problem with me handling the 24 hours after eating and i have never had one regurgitate a meal.

i wait 3 days for all my snakes after eating, not much help now eh lol 1,2,3 whos got 4? :P lol no for real i would wait at least 48 hours, 24 hours is too short a time, they may not puke at that point, but im more worried about hurting them with the partially broken down bones and stuff than anything.

I used to do 48 hours. But after reading the advice on this site, and others that I have perused I now wait 72. It just seems safer, and is less stressful on my snakes.
