So I'll admit, I'm a bit of an alcoholic! These days, I prefer the following poisons:

Absinthe
Irish Mist
Jaegar Meister
Rumpleminze
Goldschlager
Yukon Jack
Wild Turkey
Southern Comfort
any blend of the above which includes 151, Everclear, etc
Good ol' mountain dew (courtesy of father-in-law!!!)

Strong coffee
Coca cola
chocolate milk
lemonade
Ice tea

I'm "alcohol intolerant" (really) it makes me sick after just one drink. Probably a good thing since I am O.C. and would be a lush otherwise. ;)

Sailor Jerry's Rum
Coffee
Water
Red Hook ESB (Beer)
Tea, hot or cold

I'll drink the occasional soda, but not too often gives me heartburn. But I can shoot 92 proof rum with no problems. Weird huh?

.: Laura :.
08-20-10, 04:57 PM

Copious amounts of Coca Cola but apart from that Magners (cider) and Real Ale (pretty much any) and Southern Comfort (MUST be straight no mixers) or Jack Daniels (with coke)

I suppose I should have said whatever anyone buys me LOL! Most clubs my band plays at provides free drinks to the band members, as long as we don't get too sloshed to play! On those occasions, its Bud Light or Coors Lite, and in oderation, although I doubt the "lite" really helps my ever-expanding belt-line!!

I`m with Infernalis. Lady Grey, mineral water and a few different herbal teas. I used to drink tramp juice (White cider) until my skin turned white and I pissed myself, hardly fun lol :) Haven`t drank any poison for years. Poison it is too, especially now I have to take morphine all the time. Apparently if you mix the two you tend to go down the old stoppy breathing/deathy type road....

Proper snakebite has to have some Pernod in there too!! Now there's a drink to make you fall down!! Most pubs wont even sell it anymore :(

its not bad cold i stick in in the freezer at least overnight. i think it brings out the flavor while making it not quite so harsh and with chartreuse a little goes a long way lol

.: Laura :.
08-31-10, 12:37 PM
Indeed, the story behind making it always interests me

08-31-10, 05:17 PM
I've not heard of it, but then if it doesn't come straight out the bottle, I'm probably not interested.

.: Laura :.
08-31-10, 05:48 PM
Welllll apparently the drink is very very old and a specific group of monks used to make it by eating a specific amount of different herbs etc. and peeing it out :D
