Well I'm probably beating a dead horse by asking this, but I was curious as to what types of snakes everybody is keeping on this site? Which are more popular - boas or pythons, and what kinds? Being new to this site, I haven't had the chance to scour all four cornors of this forum yet!

1 - Pueblan milk snake (juvenile)

Hello, and welcome in case I missed your intro. thread.

I am from Minnesota and I have:

1 BCI
2 Corn snakes
2 Eastern Ribbon Snakes

and our newest addition is a Jungle x Coastal Carpet

I really like the boids personally. But I can see how people can get addicted to the carpets.

1 yellow anaconda
1 Brazilain Rainbow Boa
1 Marble Borneo Short Tail
1 Diamond x Jungle Carpet
1 Bredli Carpet

Had a ball up till a month and half ago. Gave him to a kid who was wanting to move up from cornsnakes to pythons. Which left me with a empty cage and my birthday was around the corner. That now filled with a yellow anaconda. 10096 10097

Yep, we think he's narcoleptic...something's not right with the little b-tard. He's a nasty bugger, and he'll freak out and try to tail whip and hiss and charge, and then just....stop and fall asleep, instantly. I've seen him go on a feeding frenzy when I drop a bunch of crickets in his cage. He will run around and stuff as many into his mouth as possible, and then just close his eyes and go to sleep with them hanging out of his mouth. You have to rap on the glass to wake him up and remind him to swallow..lol.
My fiance decided to give him a bath a few months back and he spazzed out in the water, splashing and thrashing and then just.....went still and floated. I said, "John, oh my God, we killed it!". So John poked him gently and he woke up and went back to spazzing...lmao.
I will definitely try to get some home video of Narc doing his thing. It's bizarrely hilarious.

I will get some. The flying snake is an a$$hole though...he strikes at everything and anything and sticks his hemipenes out all the time. Trying to be tough...hahahha...he's tiny. The coachwhip, Devo, is quite friendly though. I will be away this weekend, but will get some pics when I get home.

In 2008 I had Jaguars from breeding my big dark Diamond male to a Pure Coastal female Jaguar. The one listed is the only one I still have as I figure he is the nicest.
I did have 3 males I held back to begin with & then after around a year sold one & just sold the other here at the show last weekend.
Wanted to see how they progressed before deciding which one to keep around.
He is really starting to look nice, I'll have to get some updated pics of him THX Mark

Some older pics of him Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket (http://s398.photobucket.com/albums/pp67/GONESNAKEE/Jaguar%20Carpet%20Pythons/2008%20Diamond%20Jaguars/Jolly%20Roger/?albumview=slideshow)
