Mojo has needed a boyfriend for a while now.. She's 2 and ready to breed, now she can.....

i really like those :) i cant seem to find any garter breeders in canada, my dad was trying to find a canadian breeder but came up short so i gave it a try and didnt find anything either, maybe their is none. i can catch them local wc but not ones that look like that sweet.

Most (not all) garters color up more with age. Some flames will get duller with age, but most of the really colorful ones get brighter with every shed.

The 2 non feeders have now ate.

I'm excited.

They required bullfrog tadpoles, lucky I found a few today.

Progress report... 8 months old now.

2 of them are eating 2 pinkie mice per meal now, and the little runt still needs his pinkies split in half. Aside from being a little runt, he's vibrant and healthy.

Very nice Wayne he may be a runt but that's a nice pattern on him those are kewl how big do they get

my 3 year old female is about 20 inches, and about 1 inch thick. she slams 4 fuzzy mice each meal.

The babies are a lot calmer than Mojo is, she never cared for much handling.

by the time these are two years old, the bigger ones may surpass her size.

Pretty sure they have been in some other threads like head shots and Wayne's garters..

anyways Zak, the standard colours for all garters is black and red.

Albinos have no black, Anery has no red (on their tongues)

The patterns and colourations make these right up on my top 5 list.

Hey Wayne, are you still trying to breed these? They are really beautiful snakes! I was thinking about getting a garter as they look like such inquisitive and active snakes. Id definitely be interested in some of your clutch when they are ready.
