trying to source roughies outside oz as we speak.found out there are a clutch in america and a guy in norway also got some from your government.

so in the not too distant future i hope to own a pair of them.cant wait to see your pic's mate

Excuse my ignorance, but why are they called a rough scaled python? They are very pretty snakes.

They have keeled scales which means they feel rough when your holding them. They have a ridge up the middle of each scale.
