This Boa convinced my wife today that we could own one in the future - up til now Boa's were "banned" from the house!!

Tell you what - that cutey could persuade anyone - it was beautiful!! Held it for about half an hour (swapping with the wife in between times) and was so relaxed and mellow. Had more trouble putting it back in the viv than getting it out!

Aww what a nice boa. It looks like a hypo? I convinced the fiance to let me have boas and I have a regular old Colombian (more his snake than mine) and a female salmon hypo het sunglow and a male salmon hypo jungle that is just incredible. They are such docile, mellow, laid-back snakes that their size isn't a big issue.
Where'd you find that stunner? You should get him!

It was a salmon hypo ( i think) it is for sale in our local reptile shop - £400 and to be honest if we had any space left for snakes it would be in my house now!!

Thought I saw that salmon glow! They are by far my favorite boa morph. You'll get one someday...400 pounds is a lot for a salmon hypo...are they more expensive in Europe in general? They are usually only around $200-250 USD here.

that is expensive, but it is from a shop, and it does look like a very nice clean example. You can pick salmons up over here privately for about £100 as babies, one that size prob about £150 - £200

i love salmons, just dont have a lot of room for anything else right now lol nice boa rob, wouldnt mind seeing it in your vivs soon!! :D

Got no empty vivs left mate - and no extra space to put anymore in (for now :) ;) ) so no more purchases for us for a while.

I got to tell you Rob, I really love my boa. Granted he is just a yearling, but he is just the sweetest little guy. Even when he is in blue and I take him out to wash his moss, he doesn't hiss, or get defensive he just crawls all over me, even on top of my head. And, he gives kisses.
