Am i just paranoid??

Not sure if i am the only one to do this but.....

got our young corns out tonight for a general check over and a cuddle. After putting them back in the viv i had the door open for a couple of minutes whilst i checked for poo and topped up the water - even tho i was sat next to the open viv i haven't seen teh snakes since i shut the doors and now have that niggly worry that they escaped while the viv was open!!

Do others do this or am i more paranoid than you guys......:yes::no::yes::no:

The worst part is when you think you know where the snake is, then double check when you're done only to find out he wasn't there. *Then* you start to really panic.

I had my sunkissed corn Julius out yesterday, he had been sitting under my keyboard all day while I worked at my computer. I went to put him away, and he'd managed to slip away unnoticed. Tore the room apart looking for him for over an hour, eventually found him sleeping inside a box of ant traps sitting on my desk 6 inches from my keyboard.

years ago when i had my boas i walked into my room searching for somthing picked up a t shirt and my boa was out of the cage just chilling..... tank was all close lid was on..god knows how long or how she got out, after that i suffer from the same thing you do lol alwas checking my cagesto make sure everything is still safe and sound :)

no mate your not para.i always make sure i see the snake just as im locking the door.
