If your like me, and probably many others you probably want at least one of everything. Then reality sets in. I wanted a GTP or an Emerald Boa, but I don't have the space for an arb cage. So, I think my next snake will be a either a garter(Nod to Wayne) or a carpet python(Cheers to Shaun). I know they are totally different, but that's the appeal. So people, whats your next snake? And go.......

My next snake will be a pair of garters, but those will be my wife's. If I get another non garter snake it'll either be an amethystine python, or a super dwarf retic.

Ah a scrub fan. Everyone i have was extremely nasty at the start and most have settled well except one who just loves to try and kill me every time we say hello lol they are awesome snakes and I would recommend them to anyone after a larger species, as they are very active even when they reach maturity unlike burmese and some of the others.

I think burmese are very beautiful, would love to have one, but the wife says no (can't blame her). I think I can sneak a scrub past her because it's a morelia.

I'd love to have the space for a Burm, or a Rock Python.
My wife wants a burm, but only to feed the dogs to.

Haha have fun trying to lie when they reach 4m and try killing everything that moves. They are just heat seeking missles with teeth, where as the retics and brumese i have handled are all very lazy and docile. Scrubbies keep you on your toes 24/7 any quick jerky movemnts warrant a bite, even doors closing at the other end of the house set 2 of mine off, ending with me being bitten by both snakes on the arm and leg. Bites require stitches more often than not with adults too lol.

thats great news mate.you'll love diamonds they are such interesting snakes to work with.

my next snake will be either a male diamond for my female or a high yellow GQ line irian jaya for my male irian/jaguar.

both are going to be quite hard to track down, but heh god loves a tryer:yes:

presspirate, obviously i'm a tad biased but carpets are just so addictive.once you get one ive got a funny feeling your house will end up full of them.its not a bad thing as imo you just cant have enough carpets:yes:

too many to try and and count. i am in the process of building a cage for my 3 snakes i have now which will leave me 3 empty tanks that need filled... i might get some corn snakes, then are cheap (a big plus to them), they come in all different colors and they don't take up too much room. if i had all the room i wanted and tons for spending money i would get a sunglow boa and breed my boa but that is not going to happen any time soon.

I honestly don't know. If I got any more snakes any time soon, they would have to be female carpets, since I have a carpet python sausage fest going on at my place...too many boys and not enough lovely ladies for them!

I would really love a Python Pete line 75% diamond/jungle female, but don't have the money right now.

Still waiting for my baby Pueblan milksnake from coolbreeds.com. I know it's not big, bad and boisterous, but he's beautiful and hopefully handleable once he grows a little. After him will come a male albino honduran for my female, or a female Pueblan for my new male (shipping TODAY!).

Womas are really great pythons. I was honestly not that into them, but my fiance was, so we got a male. I fell in love with him quickly. They are spunky but not mean, and they have the funniest faces (look like Groucho Marx eyebrows going on..lol). When they go into defensive posture and gape their little mouths I just have to laugh at them..can't take that face seriously. I had to get a female too, and I'm thrilled with them. Great eaters, really hardy, curious, and they are probably the fastest-growing boids I've ever owned. Definitely get a woma!
