Here's a couple of pics of my 1.0 Apricot Pueblan 2010 hatchling. It'll ship next week so I'll be picking up it's equip this weekend.

Any suggestions for the first timer? I've had snakes before but never this species. What are the PARTICULARS, gang?

I have 2 of them.

Reclusive species - will hide in the substrate a lot, My yearling loves to coil up under his water bowl, my big adult only pops out of his aspen when he's hungry.

Master escape artists, will stay hid until night time when you are sleeping, then try and test every possible means of escape.

My adult shoved the top off his enclosure with about 30 pounds of weight stacked on it.

Musk factory - you can expect to get musked (very smelly) every time you attempt to handle the snake.

once the initial musking is over, they calm down a bit, but this is a nervous species of snake.

I still enjoy looking at them, they are beautiful snakes.

Like someone else said, these guys are hiders! Lots of substrate and hides for them. Don't expect to see a whole lot of them or handle them much

Mine is very curious, and very rarely musks anymore, and I've only had him about 6 weeks.

Unfortunately, he's still refusing to eat, and he desperately needs to shed (it's been been about a week since his blue faded).
